An exemplary scent bottle produced by renowned English manufacturers The Chelsea Porcelain Factory in the form of a cherub clutching a gilt container perched upon an astounding dolphin.

With mark for the gold anchor period of Chelsea porcelain (1756-1769), which saw rich coloured grounds, lavish gilding and the nervous energy of the Rococo style.

With restoration to one leg & I am unsure, but believe the work done around the neck is to conceal for display rather than repair. This is due to seeing on another example that the gap between bottle and stopper is quite prevalent - please view final photo showing this.
