A lovely oil on panel portrait of a woman wearing early 20th century dress painted by Venetian artist Giuseppe Duodo (1877–1955).

Duodo utilizes an array of colours and captures a distinct softness in this work, it is truly a joy to behold.

In a fantastic gilt oval frame with a ribbon pediment.

Signed G Duodo bottom right and indistinctly noted on the back with what I assume is details of the sitter, but the date 1924 and Duodo are decipherable.

In great overall condition, just the frame has some repair to the ribbon but displays very well.
