The 1786–7 oil painting 'A Child’s Portrait in Different Views: ‘Angel’s Heads’ by Sir Joshua Reynolds appealed to Victorian taste, thus its image can be found on a wide range of decorative silver items produced during the nineteenth and early twentieth century.

But display pieces from that period featuring Reynold's beloved angels are a rarity.. this one comes in a wooden frame with fantastic convex glass.

Has small marks of wear to frame and miniscule scratches commensurate with its age and use.
