German 19th Century Antique Brass Tazza Dish Cherub Angel Bacchus - Musterschutz

A German brass tazza dating from the mid to late 19th century, the dish is decorated with scrolled foliage and grapes along with Bacchus masks which borders a scene of an angel and cherub carrying a torch in flight.

Its ornate decoration extends to the foot which stands the piece at a height of 13 cm, whilst the diameter of the top dish is 23.5 cm.
Both the foot and dish carry the 'MUSTERSCHUTZ' and obelisk foundry marks.

In great condition with minor wear to detailing and has acquired nice patination commensurate with its age and use.
