An early 19th century c.1810 Spode porcelain ‘Dollar Pattern’ plate - an Imari palette pattern based on a Japanese design.
Featuring cross hatched and cloud borders enclosing shaped and gilt enriched reserves with stylised flora and apple green entwining motifs.
Diameter: 22 cm
In great condition for its age with some light wear to gilt and surface.. final photo shows a miniscule hairline crack.
No makers mark on this piece but is attributable to Spode, perhaps meaning this is an early form of the design.
