c.1905 Cobalt Blue Bohemian Polish Knizek Boudnik Pandora Glass Vase

Pandora Glass was produced by Josef Knizek and designed by Maximilian Boudnik at the Antonienhütte glass factory at Ullersdorf (near Teplitz).

It is an interesting technique of glass covered with metallic reduced enamels in earth tones designed to resemble ancient pieces of Roman glass. The technique was first pioneered by Boudnik. Circa 1900-1910.

A very decorative piece with a stylish cut rim - looks superb with light shining through it.

In great condition but does have a tiny chip and a few miniscule fleabite marks to the rim.
