A decorative embossed brass tray from the Persian Qajar Dynasty of Iran (1789-1925).
Features a lovely combination of traditional Persian design and motifs such as animals, flowers, and people all handsomely intertwined with calligraphic inscriptions to form a wonderfully patterned charger.
A fantastic piece in great condition with expected surface wear, oxidization, and patination consistent with age and use along with a couple of minor bends to the ends of the scalloped edges.
