English Antique Carved Strapwork Mahogany Desk Bible Candle Box

An antique carved mahogany box with sloped top and strapwork panel detailing on each of its sides.

I've seen boxes with the same strapwork attributed to Charles II's reign in the 17th century.

In great condition for its age with just a few small chips to the strapwork.
