Victorian Aesthetic Movement Majolica Sunflower Urn Samuel Lear Teacup and Saucer Antique 19th Century

A rare Victorian Aesthetic Movement teacup and saucer in majolica glaze.

Samuel Lear opened his factory in England in 1877 but closed just 10 years later in 1887.

This is known as the Sunflower and Urn pattern, but it also has a fan.

Both pieces are marked with the British Registry mark but is difficult to read.

In great overall condition with just some small fleabites to rim of cup and general crazing.
