Large 19th Century Antique Persian Qajar Engraved Brass Tray Wall Art - 77.5 cm

A very large 19th century hand chased Persian Qajar brass tray measuring 77.5 x 57 cm.

Featuring two engraved central panels depicting 13 figures in a scene that appears as if people may be giving up their livestock and possessions to a ruler who is sat with their armed guards - this may be an incorrect reading. Two distinct factions are shown though and there's certainly something more to be discovered about the depiction - interestingly in the top right one of the armed figures is stabbing a lion-like beast.

Signature roughly translated reads: اصفان قلم حسینی حافظ پت / Isfahan Qalam Hosseini Hafez.

In fantastic condition with a warm glow and patination throughout.
