Vintage Australian Pottery Porcelain Perched Kookaburra Kingfisher Bird Figurine

A charming pottery laughing kookaburra kingfisher bird with lovely hand painted decoration executed with a keen attention to detail.

Stamped on the base but it is indistinguishable to me..

c.1950 and likely produced in Australia.. quite possible inspired by the kookaburra figures of Grace Seccombe.

Has a hard to spot reattached beak but besides this is in good condition.
