Frank Hider 1861-1933 Antique British Marine Oil Painting Cornish Coast Art

Frank Hider (1861-1933) was a prolific British landscape painter known for extensive coastal views and far-reaching river landscapes. He was born in London and travelled extensively around the British Isles.

This coastal scene depicts a coastline near Land's End, with waves crashing upon the rocks and cliff face of the Cornish coast and has lovely details such as the flying seagulls and ships out at sea.

In great overall condition with just a tiny puncture in the bottom right corner.
