A beautiful Art Nouveau Villeroy & Boch Mettlach trumpet/fluted shaped vase dating from around 1900.
Matt finish and terracotta coloured glazed ground with lovely jewelled decoration and gilt detail, as well as enamelled flowers with gold gilt detailing and a duck egg blue gloss interior.
Incised METTLACH VB castle marks on underside along with date code 03 for 1903 and model #2857.
Stands 10.5" / 27cm H - 5.5" across the top - 4.25" across base.
In overall good condition with one small chip to rim and a couple of tiny nicks.
