c.1900 Pair of Villeroy & Boch German Mettlach Antique Pottery Enamel Vases #1829

Fully decorated with detailed enamelled designs done in an attractive polychrome assortment of blue, brown, red, gold, and cream colours.

Incised METTLACH VB castle marks on underside along with date code 09 for 1909 and model #1829.

One small chip and aged repair to rims. Minor fading of gold gilt and some light wear to surface with age.
