Benin Edo Warrior Figures Wood Carving Sculptures Nigerian Africa 24"

A brilliant pair of Benin warriors in armour wielding leaf-shaped bladed swords called 'The Eben'.

I'm unsure of their age but I believe to be good quality vintage pieces, however I've been unable to find another example.

In good overall condition with just a couple of negligible chips to the diamond shapes on the armour.

Height: 24" / 61 cm - Length: 9" / 23 cm - Width: 1" / 2.5 cm

A well-sized pair showcasing some of the traditional dress of the warriors of the great Kingdom of Benin.
