Antique Doulton Burslem Flow Blue & Gold Gilt Iris Wash Bowl Basin - 42cm

A late Victorian Doulton Burslem 'Iris' wash basin dating from the late 19th century.

Lobed edge profusely embellished with gilded flora upon midnight blue, decorated to the centre and exterior with blue iris flowers and foliage sponged with gold; Doulton Burslem backstamp on underside.

Minor wear and tear commensurate with age and use in the form of one small chip to rim and slight wear to gilding.
