c.1895 Pair of Japanese Meiji Ginbari Cloisonne Vases 24 cm

A pair of Meiji period c.1895 red / green goldstone ginbari cloisonne ovoid vases with blossoming cherry blossom and daffodils along with a backdrop composed of polychromatic tree trunks.

A style of Japanese cloisonné rarely seen with such a large array of colours.

One vase in good condition whilst the other has a blow to one of its shoulders and cracking but still displays well.
