Antique Gilt Brass Mythological Classical Tazza Dish Compote Plate Coalbrookdale

A Victorian 19th century Coalbrookdale style gilt brass, possibly bronze, dish with reticulated detailing featuring a stunning design inspired by Greek mythology.

With central insert which unscrews, it has remnants of an old painting on glass on the reverse and interestingly reveals a cap for the manufacturer 'Joseph Tyzack and Son'. The lower quality and later reproductions of this famous model do not have the fitted centre, its a great way to distinguish between them.

In great condition with general wear to gilt.
