19th Century Aesthetic Movement Royal Worcester Hand painted Butterfly Plate Victorian Antique

A fantastic Victorian Aesthetic Movement plate featuring a butterfly and dragonfly produced by Worcester.

With fine hand painted detailing and decorative gilt pattern border.

In great overall condition with just one small chip on the underside of rim and minor wear to paint.

Impressed Worcester mark underneath but hard to see. Pre 1862 / introduction of the Royal decree. The Aesthetic movement began 1860 and this plate is an early example.
